POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, as well as maintaining compliance with facility policies and procedures. You will help maintain the smooth operations of the facility by keeping the security environment orderly and clean. You will also be responsible for detecting any safety or security risks within the facility or personnel and reporting the information to management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a security officer or other related roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor outdoor areas including parking lots, walkways, and common areas to ensure they are secure at all times

• Remain vigilant and attentive to any unusual activities or suspicious behaviors
• Report any suspicious activity wherever there is reason to report it
• Follow all established procedures for emergency situations (i.e., reported incidents)
• Maintain detailed logs of occurrences; report any concerns or issues you have regarding the facility or employees
• Communicate with management immediately regarding any concerns you have regarding the facility or employees
• Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 21 years of age or older

• High School Diploma/GED required; college degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; must be able to drive-in all-weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and operate equipment such as power tools. (all on a regular basis)

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
